Guided Tours
Our Guided Tours will take your group on a journey on a private wind farm on our electric golf cart. The tours are one hour and 15 min include a video at the tour center prior to the tour. We ask you arrive promptly on time.
Your journey will transport you on a private wind farm back in time 40 years ago to the present. The tour will encompass the successes and failures exhibited by inventors and engineers at the beginning of the “Wind Rush” in the 80’s to the modern sleek designs we see today. You will learn about how this farm was first established by one individual investor and how it has developed to be an energy corridor. This tour will allow you to get up close to an operating modern turbine that is as tall as the Statue of Liberty. Not only will you be able to get up close to real operating wind turbines over 400 feet high, our expert guides will easily be able to describe the inner workings of wind turbines and how they contribute to our energy grid. From the novice tour participant to engineers-types, everyone will be able to leave the tour with a better understanding of how this renewable energy is fast becoming part of our energy solution. Guided Tours
Guided Tours are 1 hour & 15 minutes – $55.00 per person. Other parties or households are booked on the tour. Please arrive promptly on time. We offer a 15 minute video to enjoy before or after your tour. If you are late, you can take the next scheduled tour if available. There is a 24 hour cancellation window.
There is no walking on this tour except to take a quick selfie picture on the last stop of the operating GE Wind Turbine.

Booking Information:
Guided Golf Cart Tours (1 hour): Tour price is $55 per person. There are no special rates offered for this tour i.e., senior or military rates. Tours are booked with a mix of households (meaning other passengers will be sitting next to you on the golf cart). Children must be accompanied by an adult and must be at least 40 pounds.
Cancellation Policy for Guided Golf Cart Tours: We require a 24 hour cancellation notice and can be rebooked in the link in your email confirmation. If you are running late, you may be able to take the next available tour if available. If you are a no show, you cannot reschedule this tour. Exceptions for a full refund or rescheduling are made for extreme weather conditions such as high winds or rain, or road closures in Indian Canyon or Gene Autry due to wind storms.
VIP Guided Tours
VIP Guided Tours are 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours – $110 per person. No other parties or households are booked on your tour. Your group is accompanied by your own personal tour guide to allow for questions and answers with a beyond-the-barricade photo opportunities next to some of the large modern turbines on the wind farm. The tour then explores several experimental designs tested on our farm over the years and concludes with a survey of energy production, transmission, and storage in the surrounding area. Booking Information:
VIP Guided Tours (1-1/2 hrs): Tour price is $110 per person (2 person minimum with up to 5 passengers, 6 including the driver). There are no special rates offered for this tour i.e., senior or military rates. Children must be accompanied by an adult and must be at least 40 pounds.
Cancellation Policy for VIP Guided Tours: If you need to cancel your tour, we ask that you do so at least 3 days in advance before your scheduled tour in order to receive a full refund. Otherwise, you may reschedule your tour 3 days in advance if a tour guide is available at desired time. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to weather conditions.
Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and wind, including closed-toe shoes and sunscreen on most days. If you wear a hat, be sure it has a strap to secure it from blowing away.
The tours are available between 9:30 am and 2:00 pm in season. We operate a reduced schedule during the summer. Call 800-531-5834 for current schedules or use our convenient booking calendar.
