How It Works

Ready to get your inner nerd on?

We offer exciting tours that are fun, educational and interactive.

Guided Golf Cart Tours – We now offer one-hour golf cart tours that are available to book directly on our website. The tours depart on the hour starting at 10a to 1p. Each golf cart accepts up to 5 passengers (6 including the driver). Reservations are recommended.

Self-Driving Tours – You will need your own vehicle for this tour. We also accept RV’s that are 28 feet or less. The gravel paths are safe for most cars to drive.

Our App is fully scripted and ADL-compliant. You download it to your phone. The App is a curated audio tour that guides you along ten stops on our farm, the first including several historical artifacts.

The tour starts at our Tour Center where we offer a 15-minute video and exhibits on wind energy.  Once you finish at the Tour Center, we send you on your way in your own vehicle on our Self-Driving tour with a map and marked destinations consisting of 10 stops. The tour takes approximately 1 and 1/2 hours depending on your pace. We encourage you to get out, interact with the exhibits and take pictures along the way.

After booking either tour, an email confirmation has detailed information you will need before arrival, including downloading the App. You do not need cellular Internet service once the App is downloaded. We have WiFi in the Tour Center for your convenience.

Dogs are welcome on the tour with leash for the self-driving tours.

Personalized VIP Tours – Reserve your two-hour experience for up to five guests on a golf cart with one of our wind energy guides dedicated to your group. These tours are scheduled at your convenience. To inquire, please contact us.

For Group Tours, please email us at info@windmilltours.com and provide details about your group, i.e,. dates, estimated number people.
